Originally from New Jersy, margy traveled from places ranging from Washington D.C. to many countries in Europe. Currently living in Wallback, WV, Margy was widowed in 1977 with her two small boys. She knew there needed to be way for her to make money, and it wasn't selling blueberries and goat's milk cheese. Taking a workshop in hand spun yarns, she decided to take the yarns and headed to Fiber Exchange in Jackson's Mills.

Recently she has gotten away from the hand dying and is currently making a range of sweaters, shawls and hats along with kits for knitters. Her work is currently displayed at Tamarack: The Best of West Virginia in Beckley, WV.
